I am really gratefull for the ” hands on ” experience you have allowed me and have learnt a lot under your guidance. In particular, manoeuvering and anchoring in harbour and general sailcraft. I have bee nconsidering doing my RYA Day Skipper and you ve made me more determined to do the course for myself. We have never been to the Saronic Gulf before, so thank you for your knowledge and choice of routes. You have been a very easy person to get along in everyway. I hope we meet again and highly recommend you as a skipper. If you get to england, give us a call! Bon voyage 🙂

Jen : We have had a very enjoyable holiday and your skills at helping me in the tender were appreciated. Andy will no doubt telling to the rest  of the family all about how good a teacher you were and bragging about his skills. On the minus side – next time make sure the sun shines! 🙂

Jenni & Sean : Captain Romain ♥ Thank you so much for going above and beyond for our charter. It’s been an unforgettable trip. Every bay, sail and anchor spot just seemed to get better and better any. Your attentiveness and knowledge of the islands was so awesome to have. We’ve loved spending timegetting to hear your stories at seas over Mythos, wine and Stella’s amazing cooking!Every food stop was delicious but Stella’s really was such an special, authentic evening. Thanks for making Julie’s 60th birthday amazing and for teaching Sean, Sam & Peter how to tie knots, shorelines & anchor! All the best on your next voyage and campervan travels. We will miss you and think of you jealously when at our duties in London. Hopefully, we’ll sail together again, maybe the BVI 🙂 Bon voyage!

Jules & Pete : Dear Roman, Thank you very much for everything over the past week. As you know this was a special trip for us and it was everything we hoped for and more. I had a checklist and you ticked everything off… the locations, the foods, the stars, the lightshow (fireworks!), and even the dolphins (even if they were in a distance). HO! 5?from us, and we wish you the very best for the future! If you ever find yourself in Edimburgh or London please get in touch, we’d love to show you around as well as you have us. As we say in Scotland ” Awra Best ” !

Your knowledge, patience and good humour made the trip enjoyable. We really appreaciate the effort you put in to making it perfect. Hope to cross path again!!

Kelly & Dan : Thank you for making our first sailing experience a real dream, and one we will never forget! Your knowledge of hidden bays, swim stops is unmatched. Dan has enjoyed learning the “ropes”. We’ve had the most relaxing time and will keep this memory forever. We hope this will not be our last sailing trip with you! Once again thank you very much.

Amy & David : Dearest Romain, Thank you as always for an amzing week. Your recommendations and knowledges of the Ionian Islands make these trips so amazing and different every year! Jenson has loved his first sailing experience and you have made that so much better by taking us to outstanding locations. We have had a fantastic week and you have managed to take us to so many amazing places, shopping to swim and SUP in such gorgeous location as well as booking us great restaurants. Your patience is unending and you have taught the boys so much when it comes to sailing. You are a brilliant teacher and have so many wonderfull skills and personal qualities that we know that whatever you do in life you will be a success. Unfortunately, we never got to hear your ukulele talents but maybe we can save that for next time! You have been so kind to us all and always been ” flexible ” with the plan and contributed to our daily quizz. And you have listened to us for hours about subject that must be boring for a handsome young man, and had us believe we were interesting! Your parents must be very proud of who you are and they must have contributed significantly to that. We certainly would be if you were our son. We will be sad to say goodbye at the end of this week. It has gone so fast and we have enjoyed every moment of it. Thansk to you for looking after us so well. Enormous thanks, bon voyage and let us know if you come to the UK. ” We thank Romain for our sailing cruise!
Comfortable with all age groups (3 children from 16 to 7 years), he likes to transmit (bowline training?) and participates in the manoeuvers if you feel like it.
Romain made us discover beautiful places in the Ionian islands (anchorage for the day and anchorages for the night).
He also knows good addresses of taverns and he books the table for us (Kirki on the island of Ithaca ?)
Romain respects the wishes and desires of its guests (anchorage in cove or anchorage in port).
Our wish was especially to discover the wild coast and the seabed (snorkeling) and it was realized.
Romain has always manoeuvered so that we are in complete safety.

” We had a wonderful week sailing round Corfu with Romain. We visited many beautiful spots and we felt incredibly safe at all times. We wanted the holiday of lifetime and requested a few night moored at anchor under the stars during our weeks holiday. ” We had an amazing adventure with Romain in charge of our 45ft cat for a week in June 2023 in the Greek islands . He is a true Professional and gave us confidence he made us feel safe cared for and worry free. We had some incredible sails each day from island to island he knew all the best locations and advised us on the best directions for the prevailing winds. We are a family of relatively experienced sailors but investing in Romain was the best decision we could have made and we think thanks to him we could not have had a better week or seen anything like the locations without him . We had fun, great sailing, some of the best locations and friendship. We absolutely 100% highly rate Romain as a skipper he is a very capable and well experienced skipper . He was diplomatic sensitive to our needs ( we had four grown adults and a bunch of teenagers) and mucked in. Being a good skipper is not an easy role – Romain is an excellent skipper for so many reasons but mostly because he gave us all confidence from day one. We highly recommend Romain and will book with him. We wish him every success for the future and hope he continues to skipper for many years. Well done Romaine.  “
